What are the goals of this course?
To be able to work as a Security Guard you will need to have an SIA licence that covers you to do Security Guarding work. One of the requirements of the SIA licence is that you hold a recognized qualification, and the Level 2 Security Guard Course meets the requirements for the SIA Licence.
The Security Guard course will last for three days and will last for about 30 hours of training and 2 hours of exams. The exams are made up of three papers that consists out of 30 multiple choice questions each. You have to get 18 out of 25 for Unit 1 and 3 and at least 28 out of 40 for Unit 2.
NOTE: If you are currently working as a Security Guard without an SIA licence you will be liable for a fine and/or prison time. If you want some more information on the Security Guard or on the SIA Licence Training course itself, please call us.
